We enjoyed this post on Apartment Therapy that shows how to transform a kid's room over the years with simple furniture and a few accessory swap outs. Of course, we think our Cylinder Cushion is timeless, but creative minds will differ :)

Clearance Sale: New Additions

We love how our customer installed our old tree wall sticker in the corner. Always fun to see old trees looking fresh and modern!

Did you see that Emma Fexeus of emmas designblogg is coming out with a book?! I'm a huge fan of her blog and will definitely be picking up a copy. She has enviable taste and quintessential Scandinavian style - lots to learn from!

A Note re Vase 4

Just spotted our pretty Vase 4 in the new Adore Mag. Not sure if you heard the sad news, but our ceramic vases are being discontinued. I have a mild addiction to them. In fact, I'm actually waiting on UPS today to deliver my last minute fix in the form of Vase 6. Hurray and get yours before I do :)

Feeling Faux

Was excited to see ferm's marble wallpaper in the new issue of Elle Decor UK in this story about fabulous fake wallpaper finishes!

I'm definitely a fan. Not only can faux finish wallpapers be used to add detail and interest where it is lacking...

But also, it can be used to cover up ugly stuff. I used the marble to cover up some gnarly bubbled glass doors. I'm not saying it looks exactly like the doors are made of real marble, but I am saying it looks better than before...

A Farewell to Feathers

Loved seeing our Feather wallpaper in the lovely home of Allison and Jeff Allen on Design*Sponge today. From the first Ferm Living collection launch in 2007, it was recently discontinued. So sad - one of my favorites. Get yours while you can! Or before I beat you to it...

We'll take the bottom candleholder, thanks AT! Coincidentally, after being mentioned in the NYT gift guide, I couldn't not get one, so I recentlly bought one for myself. UPS.com says it is arriving tomorrow. Will keep you posted on it's real life fabulousness...

Tiny Trains

We love how this nursery turned out, designed by Julia and Alessia of My Tiny Nest! The simple brown and white of the furniture and fabrics work perfectly with our Tiny Train wallpaper. And is that a Birdie pillow, I spy?

A Merry Mishap

Do you follow Jennifer Hagler of a Merry Mishap on Instagram? You should. Her photos are consistently gorgeous and have a unique, thoughtful, artistic feel, that I for one have not been able to figure out how to do on instagram.

She also happens to have a few little ferm goodies, so I get extra happy when I see those pics of our products. Above is the Spire Tin and below a gray platter...

Rose Bowl Weekend

This flea market is like Disneyland for adults. The anticipation. It is huge.

Here was my first score of the day. A faux leopard, vintage coat. I love it! My expression might not reflect this, but that's because I was freezing and don't like self portraits, I guess.

Trying to be good about the old budget (New Years Resolution #3), I decided to spend some time while in LA at The Getty (rather than shopping). It was little money very well spent. The views alone were spectacular.

So gorgeous! Nothing like a good road trip. And now I'm back in San Francisco uploading our new Spring collection... Also very exciting.
