Ferm Office

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this cute home office from Real Living Australia (with a Ferm Living cork board and basket me) mentioned on Abigail Ahern's blog!

Love this photo by Paul Raeside (via our favorite Desire to Inspire). Voila wallpaper with some pretty ferm accents (I spy a cork coaster, knitted basket, knitted pillow and animals). I wonder what the story is behind this shot. Perhaps just a super cool home owner with out of this world taste? :)

French 75s and Things

To celebrate feeling fully recovered from celebrating the beginning of a new year, I had a friend over for French 75s. I went with this recipe slightly edited [insert "cheap" in front of Brut; minus pour over ice because flutes are way more fun].

I then queued up some Breaking Bad and the new Belle. Life is good. And yes, that is my new favorite pillow. I got the one in green, but I'm actually really enjoying the putty color at the moment. Can't sleep wrong with some clever reversability.

Since we're now on the subject of what Ferm Living things I've been enjoying... I utterly love this vase. The obvious problem is that as cool as the fridge get inside, is not a cool enough on the outside to support said vase. This space above this fridge has that wine bottle holder thing which is not really something I like. At all. So, at the moment, I hide it with this vase and a pretty faux snakeskin tray. A temporary fix. Speaking of snakes...

Yes, that's me and Bill! Joking, he's not a snake. That was just a lazy paragraph transitioning technique. He's...well, he's Bill. The one and only. I miss him.

Oh, wait you haven't seen my favorite picture on my fridge. Could my cute pie nephews be any cuter? I could not imagine how.

Just wanted to wish you a light-filled, love-filled, laughter-filled end to your year! We are going to be taking a little break next week (mostly to catch up on shelter magazines and Breaking Bad), so wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR too. We'll be back next year with lots of new things including a new sample sale page, a new blog design (you can't wait, right?), new products, our 5 year anniversary (time flies!), new things to wallpaper...
