Just got back from Mexico and catching up on things.
Mostly that means I've just been unpacking my new goodies, catching up on HBOGO, and updating our website. Which leads me to happily report that lots of the new collection is now in stock, yay!

After fully studying the new ferm living collection, I've come up with a list of goodies that I "need." Some for presents, but mostly for me... Starting with these little dots. I think they'll be a great way to add some cuteness to my bathroom.
Love the half moon design, and can one ever have too many baskets?
Love these little savings banks.
Can one every have too many candles, either?
For my friends who actually cook.
For me to serve them cocktails.
Pretty much every espresso drinking person I know (and like) will be getting a set of these. So pretty!
What a great idea - clothes pin bags!
With striped clothes pins = Adorable!
And this goes on my bed. Now, we just need to figure out when the new collection will arrive in the US. I can hardly wait!

Ferm Living came out with their new catalog, and I am going to say it... GOLD MEDAL, for sure. Go Denmark! So many gorgeous new things for fall! New pillows and prints...
Some neon rockin'!
Beautiful bathrobe and laundry basket.
Also, I'd like to take a time out to note that I would be a dream come true to live in this house.
Pretty shower curtains! Yes please.
Storage tins and stacking cups.
Let's zoom in on the cups, shall we? Yes, please.
Lovely tea towels...
Wire storage baskets in lots of colors and sizes. Love!
Architectural flower pots, oh my yes!
Geometric wood hooks - so fun. And don't be fooled that is our new marble wallpaper. How cool is that? I'm planning to faux marble up my bathroom asap.
Faux wood wallpaper too for those feeling more woodsy. And check out that copper office collection. So pretty! Well... I'm exhausted just thinking about all the pretty new things I want/need. Time for some spinach dip sans track and field...
Oh, and the new things will be up on fermlivingshop.com in the next couple weeks for pre-order and will start shipping in October.

I've been trying to figure out where are the time goes since I just realized I haven't blogged in quite awhile... my phone suggests... Yountville. Hoping to catch some celebs at the bar at Bardessono :)
And admiring the interior design (and food) at Redd Wood. I'm also working on an interior project in Yountville - more on that later!
I went to Colorado too, which coincided with Cattleman's Days, my new favorite days of the year : Here's my cute nephew, Eli, at the pig show.
Then there was some new mirror hanging...
Which required some furniture moving. Which lead to an unfortunate big toe injury. One of the dangers of interior design, I guess. Or being a klutz, no sure. So, basically I've been laid up in bed feeling sorry for myself, watching the Olympics. Yep, that's been the last couple weeks of my personal ferm living... Hope things are well with you!

New spring products are ready for pre-order! After spending some time this weekend uploading them on the website I am now awash in a sea of pretty pastels, feeling cool and calm. And itching to shop!
Loving the happiest of kids collections too!

I've been uploading the Ferm Living products for spring on our shop over the last couple days (check them out here!) which is why when I started looking at photographs from Paris Fashion Week, all I could see was Ferm. For example, Chloe basically had the same pretty color palette as we do - rose, mustard, gray and dusty blue. [Images from New York Magazine]
Chloe also mixed up the dusty pastels with graphic black and white. Just like we do! [Images via New York Magazine...again]
Alexander McQueen was all about geometric silhouettes, not unlike our new vases. Some might see dresses, others might see, well, I'm not sure, but I see: small vase 2, small vase 3, upside down small vase 4, and right side up small vase 4. [Images via, you guessed it, NYmag]
Stacked pastels = stacking jars; geometric leather jackets = little remix blanket; muted grays, blues and pinks = spear vase [images via The Sartorialist and NYmag]
Oliva bird bean bag [Ferm], bird on the runway. [Alexander McQueen; NYmag]
Edward elephant bean bag [Ferm]; Elephant (am I right?) on the runway. [Comme des Carcons; NYmag]
As it turns out, I am also right on trend. Here's a bright yellow top hat heading down the runway at Louis Vuitton [Image via The Sartorialist], and here's a much cheaper bright yellow top hat wondering where to catch a cab in the Mission last weekend [Image via my friend Matt]. Unfortunately, my modelling expression is one more of confusion as to why I'm wearing a top hat since I am not the birthday girl. I should have been working it like LV!
In sum: Ferm Living Shop is soooo tres chic!
